The old shape of delivery
Many businesses still think in plugins and one-off connectors. Those are useful. They do not give you a policy layer, an eval suite, or a way to supervise an agent that acts across CRM, email, and tickets.
What changed
Claude can read messy input and choose tools. That only helps if the agentic harness limits tools, retries failures, and pauses for humans. InferentCloud treats that harness as the system of record for how AI is allowed to work.
Operator control
Admins need traces, exception queues, and approvals. If the only interface is a chat box, the business cannot audit what happened. Build the console and the harness together.
Summary
Keep integrations. Put them behind a Claude harness with evals and guardrails so automation is something operators can run, not a black box.
